Beautiful melodies from the far North

Tore Johnsen, Acclaimed Norwegian jazz trumpeter has composed a collection of classic melodies from northern Norway. Minimalistic, and well produced. They are a pleasure to listen to. http://www.torejazz.no/.  Together with his brother, Tore Johnsen  is managing an independent label called Inner Ear with more of the good stuff.

Great musician, great for testing subwoofer midrange interation

Brant Bjork: “Automatic Fantastic” from the album Jalamanta.

Brant´s music includes a strong and deep bass rhythm combined with voice and high strings. If you hear a lot of voice and strings and muddy thumping bass you know sub integration is bad.  Try pulling the subs (you should have two) out from the walls along side the speakers, and matching levels better with the speakers. If this does´nt work you need new subs, like I do! The Anthony Gallo TR-1´s dont cut it on these tracks – they are OUT-OF-HERE!
